DEDA announces program to get more food vendors in city parks

Food TruckDULUTH, Minn. — Duluth Economic Development Authority is launching a new pilot program aimed to get more food trucks in city parks.

The program will offer 6 no-cost permits to mobile food vendors to operate in City of Duluth parks.

Its designed to give local operators a low barrier opportunity to expand their businesses’s visibility and connect with the Duluth community.

The permits will be valid from May 1st to October 31st and will allow access to vend in any City of Duluth park.

Eligible vendors need to be registered with the county clerk’s office, be residents of Duluth, or have a brick-and-mortar business located in Duluth City limits.

The 6 permits are first-come first-serve.
