UW-River Falls claimed their first national championship on Sunday after taking down North Central 24 -14.

DULUTH, Minn.- Former Northwestern Tigers linebacker Tanner Kaufman and Northwoods/Solon Springs defensive back Jared Schultz are national champions.

The pair and UW-River Falls claimed their first national championship on Sunday after taking down North Central 24 -14.

The Falcons end their historic season with a 14-1 record.
