Superior National Forest announces BWCA permits will be available later this month

BWCA, Minn.– During the middle of winter, many outdoor enthusiasts look forward to some summer camping, and the Superior National Forest is staying on top of that.

The Superior National Forest announced permit reservations will be up for grabs on Wednesday, January 28th at 9 am CDT.

They will be valid starting on May 1st- September 30th, 2026.

Officials from the Boundary Waters recommend checking on the Superior National Forest, and BWCA websites before planning your visit.
