UMD Women’s Hockey Drops to 8th in USCHO Poll After Trip to Ireland

The Bulldogs will take on the top-ranked team in the country in Wisconsin this weekend.

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD women’s hockey team dropped three spots in the recent USCHO poll after their trip to Ireland.

The Bulldogs fall from 5th to 8th in the poll after falling to Harvard 3-2 and to Quinnipiac 3-1 in the Friendship Series.

The Bulldogs have a tough series coming up this weekend.

They will take on the top-ranked team in the country in Wisconsin.

UMD aims to snap a 9-game losing skidded against the Badgers this weekend.

Puck drop between UMD and Wisconsin is on Friday at 3:02 p.m.
