Cloquet Antique Marketplace opens new location

CLOQUET, Minn. — The Cloquet Antique Marketplace has officially reopened in a new and larger location.

Just a few blocks from its old location, the new space holds more vendors and more items.

The new space can hold 25 vendors, while the previous location only held five.

Unlike typical antique stores, the marketplace showcases local artists and businesses, offering a wide variety of goods.

It was a successful opening day at the new locations, with shoppers eager to see what new treasures are at the store.

“We do a little bit different than your normal antique store, because it’s a marketplace. So we’ve got your antiques, your collectibles, your wholesale buys. Some people buy craft items that some people make here. Lot of local vendors that are in this mall too,” Joanne Leland, Cloquet Antique Marketplace Owner said.

Cloquet Antique Marketplace is open Wednesdays to Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The new building is located at 901 Cloquet Avenue.
