DULUTH, Minn. — The Grinch has been spotted around town taking Christmas Trees, but this time it’s to benefit the community.

For 8 years now Twin Ports Trailer Trash has been collecting Christmas Trees after the holidays.

They ensure the trees are disposed of correctly rather than becoming hazards or ending up in the landfill.

It also gives them a way to help the community during their slow season and have some fun.

“It’s kind of a fun and funny thing to do, because I’ve had kids chase me down the driveway as the Grinch yelling, give me my tree. And it’s just it puts a smile to our community, and that’s what we’re all about so.” said Kevin Potter, Director of Operations.

Potter said they’ll be doing tree pickups through the weekend and into Monday.

Twin Ports Trailer Trash also does full-service junk removal.
