UMD Men’s Hockey Goalie Adam Gajan Set to Skate for 2026 Slovakia Olympic Team

The 2026 Winter Olympics are set to begin on February 6th, in Italy.

DULUTH, Minn.- A current UMD men’s hockey player will compete in the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympic games.

Goaltender Adam Gajan has made the 2026 Slovakia Olympic team.

Gajan is the first Bulldog to be named to an Olympic roster since Noah Cates in 2022.

The past few weeks Gajan has been playing international hockey, suiting up for the U.S Collegiate Selects team at the Spengler Cup with his teammate Zam Plante.

At the Spengler Cup the pair earned a silver medal.

The 2026 Winter Olympics are set to begin on February 6th, in Italy.
