Twin Ports native signs record deal in Nashville
DULUTH, Minn. — Twin Ports native Sydney Hansen has signed a record deal in Nashville, and is now gearing up for a new release and tour.
The singer-songwriter grew up in the area and moved to Nashville around 5 years ago.
It was there that she said she really started to focus on music.
Hansen signed with GET JOE Records, which she says was a huge step forward.
“As an independent artist, I learned how hard it is to really put yourself out there with any sort of team behind you and all the work you have to do and feeling that kind of defeat, but when you finally have people around you who care about you and want to see you succeed just as much as anyone else, it really helps motivate you again, kind of give You that more of a push again, to keep going and keep putting yourself out there,” said Hansen.
GET JOE Records will help market Hansen’s music.
They’ll be pushing an EP she’s planning to release this year and planning an upcoming tour.
Hansen can be found at sydneyhansenofficial on social media, and her music is streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube.
