Pj’s Rescue hosts adoption event at Fleet Farm
HERMANTOWN, Minn. — PJ’s Rescue hosted a pet adoption event at Fleet Farm in Hermantown on Saturday.
Pj’s Rescue is a non-profit organization that fosters animals until they find their forever home.
Event coordinator Katerina Anderson said PJs doesn’t have a sheltered building, so the best way for people to see the pets is to hold adoption events all through the year.
They brought twenty dogs to Saturday’s event, and six were adopted.
Any dog that didn’t get adopted went back to their foster home.
“We’re just hoping to, you know find some dogs some homes, and this is also good exposure for them being out in public and various people saying hi to them. Children, young adults, older adults,” said Anderson.
Anderson says that all the pets get adopted eventually.
If you would like to adopt or become a foster home for a pet, there’s more information on their website.
