45th annual Arrowhead EMS Association draws in around 700 attendees
DULUTH, Minn.– For 45 years, first responders, medical professionals, and EMS from all over the region have met to collaborate and learn from one another.
This year, the DECC is expecting to welcome in nearly 700 first responders.
Each attendee will participate in a series of classes, keynote speakers, as well as the national expo.
Getting familiar with one another is crucial, and we’re told they often work together on scene.
The Executive Director of the Arrowhead EMS Association said, the content of the classes caters to a large audience.
“We try to cycle the content year over year. Try to put in something new. We push the people that put in applications to speak, to bring us something new. We stick to some common themes. We try to do basic level content, advanced level content, stuff for first responders all the way through those medical professionals,” said Adam Shadiow, executive director of Arrowhead EMS Association.
The event is kicked off Wednesday and will continue to educate our first responders throughout the weekend.
