#7 UMD Men’s Hockey Falls Just Short in Overtime Loss to #3 Western Michigan

The Broncos took down the Bulldogs 4-3 in overtime to secure the series sweep.

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD men’s hockey team closed out its series with third-ranked Western Michigan on Saturday night.

It was a battle between the Bulldogs and the Broncos all game, ending regulation tied 3-3.

In overtime, the Broncos found the back of the net to secure a 4-3 win over UMD.

The Bulldogs will hit the road for their next series, facing off against Denver.

Game one is on Friday, January 30th.

Puck drop is at 8 p.m.
