DULUTH, Minn– Duluth Residents gathered and packed City Hall.
Many people at Monday night’s city counsel meeting expressed disapproval of ICE’s presence in the the Northland and Twin Cities.
They were outraged after Veterans Affairs Registered Nurse, Alex Pretti was what they called, “executed” by ICE Agents over the weekend.
This is the second fatal shooting involving ICE this month in Minneapolis.
“You give empty words but fail to act.” Said, Duluth Resident, Eleanor Dolan.
Dolan went on to say that the city counsel, “did nothing” when she brought up a story about what she called, “acts of blatant intimdation” at her home.
Emotions ran high at Monday night’s meeting; however, everyone remained respectful.
