Wide World of Wings in Superior prepping for Super Bowl Sunday

SUPERIOR, Wis. — With Super Bowl Sunday right around the corner, Wide World of Wings in Superior is prepping for game day.

The Super Bowl is a busy day at the restaurant, with wings in high demand and customers often ordering 50 or 100 wings.

Prep starts weeks in advance, from stocking up on extra wings, to making sure there’s enough staff on hand.

Customers can choose from over 35 flavors, including sauces and dry rubs.

Popular sauces for the Super Bowl include honey barbecue, garlic parmesan and classic buffalo.

“We’re really consistent in what we do, even though we get really busy, it’s still the same wings that you would get on our day to day. And I think people really like that about it too. But then also, wings are an easy thing to bring to any Super Bowl party or a lot of our appetizers too,” Destiny Buhr, Wide World of Wings Manager said.

The restaurant offers 50 wings for $45 on Sundays, which is a big Super Bowl hit.

You can call ahead to place an order and secure a pick-up time, or place an order the day of the big game.
