Scott Jensen drops out of Minnesota Governor’s race, announces run for State Auditor
ST. PAUL, Minn. — Dr. Scott Jensen announced Monday that he is withdrawing from the Minnesota Governor’s race and will instead run for the office of State Auditor.
Jensen, a former state senator, was the republicans 2022 gubernatorial candidate
“Our state’s problems can’t be fixed by simply replacing a leader. Our biggest problem right now is broken trust in government,” said Jensen
Jensen said he is confident a well qualified canidite will emerge to be well-positioned to win in November.
Top republican candidates include MyPillow founder and chief executive Mike Lindell and state House Speaker Lisa Demuth.
