Duluth police investigate fatal shooting

DULUTH, Minn. — Duluth police are investigating a fatal shooting in the 400 block of Piedmont Avenue.

When officers arrived, they located one male deceased from apparent gunshot wounds, according to a news release.

“This remains an active and ongoing investigation and no further information will be released at this time. We encourage the public to stay away from the area to allow our officers room to work,” according to Mattie Hjelseth, Duluth Police Department public information officer.
