UMD Men’s & Women’s Hoops Sweep Jamestown in NSIC Doubleheader

UMD returns home Saturday for another doubleheader against Northern State.

DULUTH, Minn.- Both the UMD men’s and women’s basketball teams protected their home court on Thursday.

Playing Jamestown in a doubleheader, the Bulldog women began the night with a 83-52 victory over the Jimmies.

Myra Moorjani led UMD with 21 points.

Following that contest, the Bulldog men also handled business against Jamestown, winning 90 to 55.

Noah Paulson had 23 points in the win.

UMD returns home Saturday for another doubleheader against Northern State. The women tip-off at 1:30 pm and the men will follow at 3:30 pm.
