Section 7A & 7AA Boys Hockey Playoff Brackets Announced

The 7A play-in game between Ely and Moose Lake is Saturday at 2 PM.

DULUTH, Minn.- Earlier this week, the Section 7A Boys Hockey bracket was released and not much of a surprise as to who was at the top.

The defending champions Hibbing/Chisholm earn the first seed and will face either Ely or Moose Lake in the quarterfinals.

Next at number two is Hermantown, who draws #7 North Shore.

3rd is Cloquet-Esko-Carlton. They’ll face the 6th seed Greenway.

Lastly, at number four is Proctor, who will face the five seed International Falls.

All games are slated for Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Sticking with playoff hockey, the Section 7 Double A bracket was released earlier today.

Grand Rapids earns the top-seed and will face Northern Edge in the quarterfinals.

Securing the second seed in the bracket is Rock Ridge, who will play Cambridge-Isanti.

In the three verses sixth seed matchup, Duluth East will face off against their crosstown rivals, Duluth Denfeld.

Finally, Duluth Marshall is 5th and will hit the road to take on Forest Lake.

All quarterfinal games are slated for Tuesday at 7 p.m.
