Section 7A Boys Hockey: Hermantown, C-E-C, & Proctor All Secure Spots in Semifinals
Top-seeded Hibbing/Chisholm also moved on with a quarterfinal win over Ely on Tuesday.
HERMANTOWN, Minn.- The semifinals for the Section 7A boys hockey tournament is now officially set.
On Tuesday, Hermantown opened up tournament play with a 14-0 win over North Shore in the quarterfinals.
The Hawks will next face Cloquet-Esko-Carlton, who shut out Greenway 6-0 in their quarterfinal matchup.
In other 7A playoff action, Proctor scored two first period goals to get past International Falls, 2-0.
The Rails will meet up with Hibbing/Chisholm, who handled Ely 14-1 in the final quarterfinal game.
