State Girls Hockey: Proctor/Hermantown’s Rally Falls Short in OT Quarterfinal Loss to Dodge County
The Mirage will next face Luverne in the consolation semifinals.
ST. PAUL, Minn.- The Proctor/Hermantown girls hockey team made their 6th straight state tournament appearance on Wednesday, facing Dodge County in the A quarterfinals.
Trailing 2-0 in the 2nd period, the Mirage rallied back with goals by Peighton Paulson and Grace Nichols to tie up the game heading into the 3rd.
Sadly in overtime, Dodge County’s Taryn Wernecke netted the game-winner to give the Wildcats the 3-2 overtime victory.
Proctor/Hermantown now heads to the consolation bracket. They’ll face Luverne on Thursday at 1 PM.
