DULUTH, Minn. — It’s a big weekend for collectors at the Miller Hill Mall.

The Elite Sports Cards and Collectibles show kicked off Friday (2/20).

Explore sports cards, memorabilia, and other collectibles from over 50 vendors.

It’s a great way to find that card you’ve been looking for, as well as make connections and learn more about the hobby.

“Have a good mindset and ask questions. Ask as many questions. Every vendor here is here to help. And if you walk up to someone and you’re not sure about something that you want to know, just ask, and they would be more than happy to tell you about it, teach you about it.” said Kade Katz Marek from Elite Sports Cards and Collectibles.

For many, card collecting is a bonding experience that spans generations, whether its vintage baseball cards or modern games.

“There’s so few healthy hobbies, and like this is, nobody’s getting hurt. We’re just having fun. And so, it’s nice building sets, and, you know, looking at the condition of a card, and, you know, just enjoying something together. And she’s constantly teaching me about Pokémon characters and why they’re popular or not, or why they’re cool or not, and I’m teaching her about sports and, you know, legendary players. And it’s just a fun bonding thing.” said Mike Mock, Collector.

The event runs until Sunday (2/22) during mall hours in the Barnes and Noble Court.
