Henderson’s OT Goal Gives #10 UMD Women’s Hockey First Win at #3 Minnesota Since 2022
UMD will aim for the sweep on Saturday with puck drop at 2 PM.
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.- The UMD women’s hockey team entered a crucial series on Friday night with Minnesota.
After trading goals in the 1st period and then trading goals in the 2nd and 3rd, the two teams eventually went to overtime tied at two.
That’s where Bulldog defender Tova Henderson called game, netting the game-winning goal to give UMD their first win at Ridder Arena since March of 2022.
Zoey Krock and Madi Burr were the other goal-scorers for the Bulldogs.
