Piedmont Youth Hockey Association hosts Panther Pancake Breakfast
DULUTH, Minn — The hockey community came together for the Panther Pancake Breakfast fundraiser.
The fundraiser was put on by the Piedmont Youth Hockey Association, a community-run non-profit that aims to keep youth hockey accessible, inclusive, and safe. The event doubled as a celebration of a successful hockey season despite the setback that followed last year’s vandalism. Attendees had the chance to lace up their skates, go sledding, and, of course, enjoy pancakes.
It’s just great to get the kids to come out, and they enjoy skating, and I think the families just enjoy getting out of the house and using this fabulous facility that everybody’s helped us put a lot of time and effort in,” said Eric Crawford, president of the Piedmont Youth Hockey Association.
