Lake Superior YMCA gearing up for 5th annual “Chuck a Puck” event
HERMANTOWN, Minn.– The community has pitched in over $17,000 worth of prizes for the Lake Superior YMCA’s “Chuck a Puck” event.
And pretty soon, the fundraiser will cater back to the community.
On Monday, March 2nd, puck purchasers can try their luck at this event, to earn some prizes.
From restaurant gift cards, tickets to events and plenty of kid’s toys.
The money raised from the chuck a puck will help food access programs.
“It’s great to see every year this check a puck gets bigger and bigger, and every year I get done with it and go, Oh, it’s never going to get bigger. And then this year we have more prizes than ever,” said Brian Trettel, Membership Experience Director, Lake Superior YMCA.
Pucks are available for purchase at the Hermantown YMCA.
They cost $10 per puck, and they have a goal of at least $10,000.
