Hoops Brewing closes after nearly 10 years
DULUTH, Minn. — One of Duluth’s premier brewers celebrated its final pours on Monday before permanently closing
Hoops Brewing in Canal Park opened in 2017 and was known for its German-inspired beers and deep community roots.
Owner Dave Hoops announced the closure in a video posted to Facebook earlier this month.

Monday customers raised a final glass to nearly ten years of memories.
Hoops said the brewery served as more than just a taproom.
“I really appreciate the out point of support since we’ve announced, and more importantly, the last 10 years of everybody coming in here and really allowing us to do what we love. So it’s been a really nice run,” said Hoops.
Hoops says the beer won’t disappear completely, and some of the pale will be available at bars and restaurants around town.
