Clayton’s Two Goals Helps Grand Rapids Take Back Section 7AA Title
This is the 18th time in school history that Grand Rapids has made it to the big dance.
DULUTH, Minn.- The Grand Rapids boys hockey team is heading back to the state tournament after missing out in 2025.
On Thursday, the Thunderhawks defeated the Wolverines of Rock Ridge, 4 to 1 to claim the Section 7AA title.
Dylan Clayton had two goals in the 3rd period to put the game on ice for Rapids.
This is the 18th time in school history that Grand Rapids has made it to the big dance.
They’ll hear who their first round opponent is at state over the weekend.
