UW-Superior hosts spring career fair

SUPERIOR, Wis.– It was a packed house Thursday at UW-Superior for their ‘all majors’ career fair.

The Yellowjacket Union was full of booths at the spring career fair.

Students got to check out opportunities ranging from jobs in law enforcement to positions at assisted living facilities.

With graduation season approaching landing that first real-world job is key.

But simple networking can make a difference for students as well.

“I think this is a really great time for students, either, if they already have positions, they can still roam and make connections before they depart on to their next destination after graduation,” said Liza Hendrickson, Career Development Manager at UW-Superior.

UWS also provides a free Career Closet on campus with donated items like tops, sweaters, and blazers for students who might need to spruce up their look for jobs interviews.
