Duluth Pack announces new chapter with new president

Duluth-based Duluth Pack has announced its new president — Grant DeMars — who has been working with the company for seven years.

Starting out as Duluth Pack’s photographer, DeMars has worked up the ranks.

With this new position, he said he is passionate to keep the core values of the company the same, but he’s also excited to introduce more local art onto the sales floor.

DeMars said no matter how he decides to shake up the business, decisions are a team effort.

“All of our people are great. We talk to our people every day, get their input on things. So, I’m really excited to be able to put some of their ideas into process, bring some of the things that our team thinks of to life,” DeMars said.

DeMars says the 143-year-old business is constantly changing.

Upgrades are planned for the Canal Park signature headquarters, and the product line is expected to expand.
