St. Louis County Attorney Kim Maki to seek second term
DULUTH, Minn. — St Louis County Attorney Kim Maki has announced she is running for a second term.
In a press release on Friday, Maki said she was seeking reelection to continue her commitment to preserving and defending the rule of law, prosecuting crime without fear or favor, protecting vulnerable citizens, and providing sound legal counsel to the county government.
Maki was elected to a four-year term in November of 2022.
“It has been an honor to serve the people of St. Louis County,” said Maki. “Over the past four years, our office has worked every day to uphold the rule of law with integrity and fairness. I am running for reelection to ensure that this work continues, guided not by politics or pressure, but by what is right under the law in every circumstance.”
Maki, an Iron Range native, has worked in the County Attorney’s Office since 2011.
