Tom’s Taste of Chicago announces new location in Superior
SUPERIOR, Wis.– A beloved Chicago themed food trailer business in Duluth has been busy cooking up a brand-new brick and mortar location.
Tom’s Taste of Chicago closed their smaller location on Grand Avenue in West Duluth.
But now, starting March 13th, they will be opening up shop on the corner of North 19th street and Tower Avenue in Superior.
They serve Chicago classics such as hotdogs, pizza, and Italian beef sandwiches.
The owner said, the upgrade was necessary.
“This building has been open for a long time, and we needed seating. So, we came over and looked at it with a friend, and it just worked. It was a good, good fit for us,” said Tom Nicholl, co-owner of Tom’s Taste of Chicago.
Nicholl said, the bigger space is bringing in more opportunities.
“Now that we have a home for it and a little bit of seating, it just didn’t fit on a carry out pizza. But I think we’re going to experiment with that and do the pan pizza and add that to the menu as well, not right away, but it’ll happen,” said Nicholl.
With this adjustment, Tom’s Taste of Chicago will be scaling back their food trailer operations.
Nicholl said, they’re looking forward to serving up Superior, and surrounding areas.
