’31 Days of Halloween’ Display Gets Barnum Into the Fall Spirit

Every day, a different display takes over Amanda Agurkis' lawn

BARNUM, Minn. – A seasonal display in Barnum is celebrating thirty-one days of Halloween.

Every day in October, the front yard of Amanda Agurkis’ house has a new decoration theme.

She doesn’t tell anybody what her upcoming displays will be so they stay a surprise.

She re-arranges and dresses her skeletons every day at about 4:30 or 5:00 a.m. because she loves Halloween.

“It’s a chance for everybody to be a little kid again and to use your imagination and getting back to your childhood,” said Agurkis. “I do not turn trick or treaters away, they can be two or they can be a hundred. If they dressed up and come to my yard and say trick or treat, they get candy.”

You can see the display on Main Street in Barnum every day through Halloween.
