AFL-CIO Celebrates Labor Day With Picnic
Senator Klobuchar and Congressman Nolan were on hand Monday

Bayfront Festival Park was home to an oversized backyard barbecue, Monday.
The AFL-CIO Labor Day Picnic brought around 2500 workers and family members to the the park for hot dogs, corn on the cob, music and fun.
The annual Labor Day celebration takes months to plan according to organizers.
They say the event celebrates the labor movement and the contributions it has made to the American lifestyle.
Senator Amy Klobuchar and Congressman Rick Nolan were on hand and gave speeches along with several local political candidates.
In addition to the food and drink, live music was also provided and a kids play area was on site.
