Fire Continues to Burn Near Skibo
Around 1000 Acres Have Been Burned
Multiple fires broke out on Friday, scattered across several miles near Hoyt Lakes.
The fire has burned around 1000 acres and caused evacuations on Friday, but those evacuated were able to return the same day.
Authorities say it’s a type 2 fire, which means it requires more resources to put it out, which brought out over 300 personnel from 12 different states to put out the fire.
The fire is 12 percent contained, but authorities say they are unsure of when the fire will be turned out.
Road closures remain with county roads 565 and 569, and forest roads 120, 420, 795 and part of 113 being closed.
