Superior Mayor to Seek Re-Election

Paine's Kick off Will be Held on December 1

SUPERIOR, Wis. – Superior Mayor Jim Paine announced on Wednesday he plans to seek re-election in 2019.

Paine posted the announcement on his Facebook page stating:

“I am excited to finally announce that I will be running for re-election as your Mayor. We have done incredible things together in this first term. From development to transportation to housing, this city is changing and growing by the day. Serving our hometown together has been the honor of my life. But we have so much more left to do.”

Paine is hosting a kick off to his campaign at the Carnegie Library on Hammond Avenue on December 1 at 1:00 p.m. where he will discuss his plans for the future of Superior.
