Dog’s Birthday Party Helps Support Humane Society

A Superior business owner celebrated his dog’s birthday with a special twist Sunday.

This was the third year Mike Dodge held a party for his pup, Buddy.

He invited the Douglas County Humane Society and other dog lovers to join in the fun at Dodgie’s East End.

Pet owners could enjoy a hot dog with their pooch, get a smooch in a kissing booth, or even get a tracking chip for their dog at a discounted price.

“I really like making awareness for the humane society and this community and everything. I took him in three years ago and he has been a life changer,” said Dodgie’s East End, Mike Dodge.

Dodge said he usually raises between $400-$800 dollars for the Douglas County Humane Society
