A Duluth housing non-profit has launched a program to help prevent eviction.
It’s called Tenant Landlord Connection.
The program is designed to educate, mediate and improve tenant-landlord relations to help cut down on the hundreds of rental-related court filings in Duluth every year.
“We are really there to help on both sides because nobody wins in an eviction. And so if we can prevent those evictions from happening, everybody is in a better spot,” said Jeff Corey, with One Roof Community Housing.
One Roof Housing is managing the program and it’s being funded by the city of Duluth, St. Louis County, Housing Redevelopment Authority and the Ordean Foundation.
