The Proctor Area Historical Society has a lot to be happy for!
The historical museum recently had their grand opening.
This project has been in the works for about 3 years.
This summer, the downstairs was completed and a local artist came in to help with design work on the walls.
“It goes to show ya even though we’re just volunteers and most of us are all amatuers, with a little bit of help from some outside sources you can really put on a tremendous exhibit in a small town and in a small museum,” said Jan Resberg, President of the Proctor Area Historical Society.
The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. for 4 p.m.
It’s located right off of Highway 2.
