For veterans who enjoy golf, the Proctor Golf Course wants you on Labor Day.
The course is holding its first ever Veterans Open September 7th. Any veteran is welcome to play for free and stick around for a bar–b–que.
Course manager Brian Walker says he’s impressed with the support he’s gotten from local business.
“We’ve had a lot of businesses step up, we’d love to have even more,” Walker said. “Anybody that’s interested can call us at 624–2255.”
