7th Annual Tribute Fest to Rock Bayfront Park Friday

Cover Bands Play to Raise Money for Homeless Vets

Sorry, this video is no longer available

The 7th Annual Tribute Fest starts Friday at 2 p.m.

The Tribute Fest has been held annually in Duluth to raise money and awareness for homeless veterans in Minnesota.

Organizers chose a cover band format, because they wanted people to play songs the audience would know and connect with.

Each artist is a professional cover act sticking strictly to one band, with the exception of a Sun Records Cover (Roy Orbison, Elvis, and Johnny Cash).

Usually a two day event, this years music festival will expand to three days, with Sunday featuring country music artists.

Artists being covered Friday and Saturday include Lynyrd Skynyrd, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Journey, Prince, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, and Elvis.
