LIVE: Watch Public Memorial Service for Duluth Police K-9 Haas

DULUTH, Minn. – A public memorial service is being held today honoring Duluth police K-9 Has.

The memorial service is being held at the Harbor Side Ballroom at the DECC Friday afternoon.

Doors will open to the public at 3:00 p.m. with the service beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Haas was only three years old when he was shot in the line of duty during a domestic assault call early January.

Haas was one of four canines on the Duluth Police Department’s patrol unit and was cross-trained in locating narcotics.
