Former Duluth Fire Chief Dies

DULUTH, Minn. – The Duluth Fire Department announced on Monday the passing of retired Fire Chief Larry Bushey at the age of 85.

Bushey served the Duluth Fire Department for 32 years as a Firefighter, Fire Equipment Operator, Fire Captain, and Fire Marshal.

Bushey retired in 1993.

Bushey’s son Bryan also served the fire department for 32 years and his other son Brad has served 24 years so far.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 12 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Dougherty Funeral Home.
