The 34th Annual Tall Timber Days survived a weather scare, Sunday completing another successful year.
After a line of strong storms moved through the area, blue skies appeared and thousands of people lined 5th St. in Grand Rapids for the Tall Timber Days Parade.
Guests waited in long lines the many food stands, and crowds enjoyed lumberjack shows and craft vendors.
The festival began as a lumberjack competition 34 years ago, but has grown into one of the largest summer festivals in Northern Minnesota.
