Golfers brought out their wackiest socks.

Not as a fashion statement but to raise money for a good cause.

The Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse held their fourth annual Golf Scramble at the Nemadji Golf Course.

This year the theme was “Socks for Survivors,” to put emphasis on some of the basic needs they provide abused clients when they arrive at their shelter.

“The funds raised from an event like this go into our general operation fund,” CASDA community engagement coordinator Jill Hinners said. “To be used where needed so that we can continue providing our very valuable services to the community.”

CASDA provided 450 individuals with direct advocacy services in 2014.
