Wayne Boucher, Keith Musolf Win Primary Race in St. Louis County
Special election is on August 13th
Current Hermantown mayor Wayne Boucher and iron worker advocate Keith Musolf will advance to the special election this summer for the St. Louis County Board 5th district race.
The seat opened up after Representative Pete Stauber was elected to Congress.
Boucher took home the most votes, with 346 ballots cast in his favor.
Musolf won the second-most votes, with 319 votes supporting him.
There were six candidates who ran for the 5th district seat.

Wayne Boucher – 346 votes – 30.40%
Keith Musolf – 319 votes – 28.03%
Timothy Herstad – 228 – 20.04%
Keith MacDonald – 153 – 13.44%
Kal Randa – 52 – 4.57%
Robert “Bobby” Wagner – 40 – 3.51%
