Trades and Technology Expo Gives Visitors Glimpse of Pipeline Builders

A group of trade organizations is hosting the Skilled Pipeline Trades Technology Expo in 3 northern Minnesota communities this week.
Officials say the expo aims to teach visitors about training and safety concerns of pipeline workers.
The trade groups want people to know what precautions are taken to ensure the integrity of the pipelines and why they are needed.
Monday was the first stop for the expo.
The event was held at the Cloquet Veteran’s park.
It will move to the Beltrami County Fairgrounds, Tuesday, and the Hubbard County Fairgrounds on Wednesday.
