Mike Tusken named Duluth Police Chief
The Duluth Police Department has a new top cop.
Duluth Mayor Emily Larson has officially appointed Mike Tusken as Chief of Police.
Tusken has been serving as Interim Chief following the departure of Gordon Ramsay, who took the Chief of Police job in Wichita, Kansas.
He has over 23 years of law enforcement experience, previously serving as Sergeant and Lieutenant. He was appointed Deputy Chief by Chief Gordon Ramsay in 2006.
Tusken was up against Brian Kozak, who is the Chief of the Cheyenne, Wyoming Police Department.
A news conference is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. with Tusken and Duluth Mayor Emily Larson.
