St. Paul Police: Finding Assailant of 5-Year-Old Girl ‘Top Priority’
St. Paul police say finding the assailant of a five-year-old girl is a “top priority.”
Authorities say a school bus driver found the girl crying, with her face bloodied at a bus stop on Monday.
The drive for a charter school pulled up in St. Paul’s North End around 8:10 Monday morning and was waiting for a student when he saw a girl hiding behind a tree.
Police say the girl ran towards the bus and the driver called 911.
The girl apparently had a broken nose and was unable to tell officers what happened.
According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the girl described the suspect a “big older boy” whom she had never seen before .
