Sclavi’s Italian Restaurant opened on Tower Avenue in October, but declining business has left the new restaurant in peril.

The restaurant has a strong Facebook following and initially opened to success, receiving great reviews on social media. 

However, restaurant co-owner Anthony Sclavi says that despite his family’s best efforts, declining business on Tower Avenue has pushed the restaurant to the brink.

Sclavi says his restaurant isn’t the only one seeing a decline in business, but the youth of the restaurant is making it harder to survive the slow times.

The restaurant specializes in small batch Italian food, with fresh sauces and seasonal menu items.

Sclavi’s is currently open for dinner services Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
