Lutsen 99er Draws Thousands of Racers

Around a thousand athletes raced their way across the finish line at Lutsen for the 99er.

The event brought together mountain bikers from across the nation to race a 99, 39 or 19 miles course in Minnesota’s Sawtooth Mountains.

The weekend long event also provided children’s races and entertainment.

According to the 99er’s facebook page during the award ceremony $4,500 was awarded to the high school mountain biking association.
