Businesses Evacuated After Gas Line Break in Duluth Heights Neighborhood

DULUTH, Minn. —  Several businesses in and around the Burning Tree Plaza in Duluth were evacuated Monday evening after a gas line break, according to a city spokesperson.

Haines Road was shut down, along with parts of Matterhorn Drive and Maple Grove Road as fire officials handled the scene.

No injuries had been reported as of 7 p.m.

Comfort Systems was called in to shut off the gas line.
