Hair stylists give cuts to critters

Pet lovers from far and wide came to the Language of Hair Salon today for a good cause.

The employees at the salon volunteered their time to give animals haircuts and pampering and all the proceeds are going to Animal Allies.

People without pets came as well to donate to the cause.

Fay Kuettel, the owner, said “Myself and employees we all have animals, we’ve had a lot of rescue animals and we like to support our local business by helping animals.”

The event today raised a little more than $2,000.
